Matriculants Encouraged To Apply For NSFAS Funding

Since the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to apply for funding in the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

"The application window will close on fifteen December 2024, and you will discover not many days left to submit applications. Suitable learners are urged to apply immediately to secure money assistance for their post-school education," Nkabane said.

Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Exams, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper 3.

Nkabane mentioned this pivotal moment marks the end result of a long time of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their examinations with determination and assurance.

With Just over 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this year's matric examinations, across South Africa, Basic nsfas Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the public in the department's preparedness to administer the exams smoothly.

Nkabane highlighted an array of alternatives out there in the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, that's open to all matriculants looking for how to upload documents on nsfas further mynsfas instruction and skills development.
