As the 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to make an application for funding from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The applying window will shut on fifteen December 2024, and there are not many days left to submit applications. Eligible students are urged to apply immediately to secure financial assistance for their post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane reported this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their examinations with perseverance and confidence.
With Just over 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this 12 months's matric examinations, across South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public with the department's preparedness to administer the examinations easily.
Nkabane highlighted a range of opportunities out there in the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, that's open to all matriculants looking for further more education and learning and skills mynsfas login development.
